Kevin Morris was born on New Year’s Eve in Marlton, New Jersey. That dramatic entrance into the world should’ve been the first hint, but he did not find theater until fifth grade when his mom tricked him into going to a local summer theater camp. After he landed the role of the father duck in Honk! Jr., he opened his very first show perched on a nest in a spotlight; from then on he was hooked.
Kevin realized he wanted to pursue a career in theater during his junior year of high school and a couple of months later he was accepted into the Boston Conservatory’s BFA Musical Theater program.
Since graduating from the Conservatory, Kevin has performed in many professional regional productions. He has also developed a passion for theater education and costume design from working with the Create. Inspire. Change. Theater Company. He is excited to continue working in all three of these theatrical areas!
Kevin is proud to be a Co-Founder, the Production Manager, and the Resident Costume Designer at the Create. Inspire. Change. Theater Company located in Boston! CIC's mission is to provide families and children, regardless of socioeconomic standing, exposure to both artistic expression and theatrical performance at minimal to no cost. The CIC Theater Company is specifically committed to reaching those whose standing limits their exposure to the arts.
Kevin graduated in May 2016 from The Boston Conservatory with a BFA in Musical Theater and plans to pursue his Master's in Costume Design.
